Here at The Cooperative Opportunity Project, we also do projects that are just Community based. Our four Project foundations are Education, Youth Empowerment, Homelessness, and Veteran Affairs.
We also understand that other things need to be done to give back. Here are some examples of our way to give back.
Community Center Xmas Party 2021
Every year we pick a different Community Center in an Underserved Community and host a Holiday Party and give away FREE Toys, Gift cards, and Food with music to kids and families in the Community.
This year 2021: Baltimore City.
We gave a young mother and her son $1000 and $1000 worth of toys and gifts. We also gave away over $2000 worth of toys and gift cards to kids in Baltimore City. We also donated boxing equipment to the gym that teaches kids how to Box. Check out our Journal section for our Community Center Xmas Part from last year.
HEALTHCARE HEROE GIFT CARD CAMPAIGN: 2020
We raised over $1800 by selling our Healthcare Hero shirts and personal donations. With the money raised, we were able to give $25 PERSONAL GIFT CARDS DIRECTLY to Healthcare workers from all over the U.S. The Cooperative Opportunity Project provided over 88 gift cards in person and virtually. We wanted to give to every kind of healthcare worker such as Nurses, EMT'S, Dialysis Techs, Administration and Receptionist, Housekeeping and Dietary, and other hospital staff. The cards were given out in the NYC AREA from Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. We also gave virtual gift cards Nationwide to healthcare workers.
HEALTHCARE HERO GIFT CARD UPDATE 2020

Way before our founder applied for our 501C3 with the IRS IN 2020, all of these projects below were funded by his profits from his small business and his family and friends.
DOMESTIC ABUSE BAGS: 2019
We wanted to do something for people who are suffering from domestic abuse. We came up with these bags that people escaping a bad situation at home can go to a local shelter and get a bag for free. Each bag contained a T-shirt, sweatpants, socks, soap, deodorant, and a toothbrush kit.
We donated over 125 bags to a local women's shelter.
FOOD AND CLOTHING DRIVES SINCE 2010
We Have done clothing and food drives in the DMV area annually since 2013-2019. We have fed over 1000 people and have given away clothes to the homeless and veterans within the area since 2013.

CHRISTMAS FAMILY SPONSORSHIP: 2010-2019
We would sponsor a family every year for Christmas, providing them with toys and gift cards for a holiday. This was done from NY, MD, Washington D.C., and Virginia.
These are just examples of our work in the community since 2010.
