THE PITTI UOMO PROJECT
Introducing The Pitti Uomo Project, a dynamic learning opportunity for students looking to enter the fashion industry! Our goal is to create an unparalleled learning experience that goes beyond the classroom and immerses students in the world of fashion. To achieve this, we partner with No Chaser, an eclectic publication, and select collaborators to create a one-of-a-kind fashion journey in Florence and Milan, Italy.
At the heart of this program is the proposed plan to visit Pitti Uomo, the world's largest and most important men's fashion trade show in Florence. You will also attend an evening of industry events for established brands, take part in a photoshoot, and visit the Gucci Museum. The second leg of the journey takes you to Milan, where you'll attend a runway show, visit established showrooms, and learn about production first-hand by visiting a factory.
Our program is tailor-made for students who want to get ahead in the fashion industry while experiencing the beauty of Italy. Our approach is collaborative, and we work hard to provide a platform for students to showcase their work through a social media challenge, where they can submit their designs and invite people to vote. We'll narrow it down to the 3 finalists who will join us in Italy in June 2024.
