Many students—especially those from underserved communities struggle to find mentors, resources, and pathways to success, preventing them from achieving their full potential.

The Solution
At The Co-Op Academy , we are revolutionizing education by connecting students with small business owners and industry professionals who serve as instructors. Instead of abstract theories, students learn practical, applicable skills in courses such as Financial Literacy, Stocks 101, Graphic Design, Entrepreneurship, STEM, Coding, Video Animation, Social Media Content Creation, Leadership, T shirt Business, Intro to AI, Public Speaking, and Mental Health. Upon completion, they receive **certifications** that boost their credibility and open doors to real opportunities.

Instructors

Every course at The Co-Op Academy is led by small business owners and industry professionals who specialize in the subject they teach. Our students don’t just learn theory they gain hands-on knowledge from mentors who live and breathe the work daily. It’s real-world education from real-world experts.

Class size 

Each course is limited to just 25 students, ensuring your child gets a more personalized learning experience, direct instructor support, and a tight-knit peer community. Our last sessions had over 400 students from 22 different states and 3 countries.

Online 

All courses are held virtually at the same time each week, making it easy to build a consistent learning routine. Students join via a secure Zoom link, accessible from anywhere — whether they’re at home, on the go, or in a library. Flexibility meets structure to support every learner.

Safety 

Safety and comfort are top priorities at The Co-Op Academy. Each virtual session is monitored by a dedicated moderator who ensures respectful student behavior and keeps a close eye on the chat. All sessions are also recorded and securely stored by The Co-Op Project to promote a safe, transparent, and structured learning environment for every student.
