T-SHIRT SUMMER CAMP

We had the privilege to create a T-shirt program in Fredrick, MD, in the summer of 2021. The kids had fun and learned how to use their creative ideas to make T-Shirts. Some students overcame their social anxiety and learned the art of screen printing. The purpose of this program was to encourage students to follow their artistic ideas and learn how to create income by selling their products. 

At THE COOPERATIVE OPPORTUNITY PROJECT, we provide opportunities to teens to get to know each other, educate and develop. We have local teen activities Maryland families have confidence in, such as workshops, community service and group activities that help them gain confidence and friendship. Our emphasis is on the teenagers to train them in communication, leadership and problem-solving. Their activities and mentorship can give them the experience to help them overcome challenges and make positive decisions. Our inclusionary environment helps the teens to experiment, rediscover their interests, express themselves and feel that they are a part of something bigger. We think every teenager should be given a chance to succeed and prosper. THE COOPERATIVE OPPORTUNITY PROJECT is delighted to be working with the youth of Maryland and making them able and confident leaders of their community. We are here to the very end.
